Position Name: Quality Control Engineer
Reports to: Project Engineering Manager

Shift: 9 AM - 6 PM Eastern Time

As a Quality Control Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting quality assessments and providing validation reports against established company technical standards and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and improve the Onboarding to Service quality checklist
  • Report deviations of existing Quality Control checklists from current Atlas Technica standards
  • Perform functional, system, security, and performance testing according to Atlas Technica standards
  • Continually evolve the Quality Control process and assist in reporting, tracking, and fixing issues
  • Collaborate and maintain open communication with internal stakeholders about issues, risks, and status updates
  • Maintain and communicate Quality Control testing timelines, schedules, and ensure timely delivery of Quality Control status reports

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of IT Projects, integrations, and support with a focus on Microsoft 365 (full stack), Microsoft Endpoint Management (Intune), Active Directory to Azure Active Directory Migrations, Microsoft Server consolidation, Microsoft SharePoint implementations, SaaS file, and On-premises file server migrations. Microsoft Windows desktop and Azure server deployment, Microsoft Office, desktop, and mobile device troubleshooting. Firewall and Switch configuration.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Project Management experience
  • Strong technical documentation skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience

Desirable Qualities:

  • Significant experience in an MSP environment, particularly utilizing the ConnectWise suite of products
  • Exposure to workloads in Azure or AWS
  • Experience with vendors such as Google Workspace, Box, Dropbox, Duo, Okta, AirWatch
  • Experience with Mimecast or other mail security gateway solutions such as IronPort or Proofpoint
  • Desire to learn new technologies
